Tiger+Iguana = What??

I'm in stunning Boulder, CO as a guest of Volkswagen to drive the 2009 VW Tiguan. "Tiguwhat?" you might be saying to yourself. Don't worry, you'll get used to the name. The Tiguan is the first compact SUV from VW to hit our shores and they are promising that it is "the GTI of Crossovers". With a 200 HP 2-liter turbo engine and an available 6-speed manual in the base trim level, it seems to have the prerequisites. The question is, has VW been able to translate their sporty driving experience into a compact SUV? That's what we are here for.
